Admission Counselor Admissions General
The Admission Counselor promotes and represents the university to prospective students and assists students and families in the enrollment process. This role reports to the Associate Director of Admission and is responsible for all aspects regarding recruitment of prospective first year and transfer students. The Admission Counselor uses a strategic approach to territory management with guidance of the senior team to ensure steps are in place to meet enrollment goals, while assisting with the coordination of projects and programs as assigned. This role serves in a primarily on-campus capacity during the regular work week with flexibility based on required travel and approved work from home options that may include one to two days a week depending on season/workload.
Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) in Education COE Instructional
The successful candidate will teach courses in the Middle/Secondary (grades 5-12) licensure program, the College of Education foundational core, and depending on qualifications, the Master’s of Science in the Experiential Program for Preparing School Principals. We are seeking a highly motivated colleague with expertise in and a demonstrated commitment to middle/secondary education, especially in the areas of science and/or mathematics, who is eager to collaborate on initiatives related to teaching and learning with our community, local school, and state partnerships; and to contribute to the vision for teacher preparation in the College of Education. Head of Special Collections - Library Library Collections
Butler University seeks a collaborative and forward-thinking professional to serve as our next Head of Special Collections. The successful candidate will take the lead in arrangement, description, and management of the unique resources currently in our collections; coordinate strategic growth of our digital collections in an evolving digital asset management ecosystem; engage in outreach and advocacy activities that expand collections as appropriate; and supervise and participate in archival instruction that encourages curricular and scholarly use of special collections material. The department is home to over 350 collections, such as William F. Charters South Seas, Etheridge Knight, Eliza Blaker, Sigma Gamma Rho, Butler University Buildings and Grounds, Butler University Athletics and more. The person in this position will assist in library leadership by developing policies, participating in organizational planning, and providing effective management of staff.
Career Development Consultant CaPS
The Career Development Consultant plays a major role in the success of the Lacy School of Business Career Development program. This position provides essential support in the Career Development office to students and employers, serving as an employer outreach contact, as well as providing career advising and development opportunities for undergraduate students in the Lacy School of Business. In addition, this position provides leadership for the project based platform Bluework.
Equipment and Operations Assistant Athletics Administration

Business Librarian Library Collections
Butler University Libraries seeks a Business Librarian to serve as the liaison to the Lacy School of Business, with an emphasis on instructional services and support for initiatives related to business information services. The position collaborates deeply with faculty to provide course-integrated library instruction in support of student learning outcomes, manages collections activities for business information, and provides research support for faculty and students. The position also collaborates with other librarians and staff to provide services and outreach to the rest of the campus community. Assistant Professor of History—Early Modern Europe History Anthropology Classics
The Butler University Department of History, Anthropology, and Classics invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of History of Early Modern Europe, broadly defined. The Department encourages applicants who challenge traditional understandings of Europe and the Early Modern period, and who center their work around topics of movement, migration, trade, or cultural exchanges. We are especially interested in candidates whose teaching and research focuses on Europe and its global connections to Asia, Africa, Latin America, or Oceania.
