To be an initial contact and provide assistance to those within and outside Butler University having information or questions for the Business Office. To provide support in day-to-day operations of the Business Office including Accounts Payable and Payroll, and to assist the accountants in obtaining information. Print and review Departmental Deposits and journal vouchers and contact departments regarding any questions.  Collect, sort, distribute and file mail.  Enter and file journal vouchers for General Ledger. Run reports to check for General Ledger journal edit errors, budget checking errors and help resolve.  Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations.  Prepare monthly billing for outside organizations and deposit corresponding payments.  Track credit card statements received and determine fees to record in the General Ledger.  Assist with audit support and preparation including preparing confirmation letters, copying, and room arrangements.
Registrar VP Enrollment Mgt.
The University Registrar provides administrative oversight and expertise in student information systems and records. As a senior-level director in the Division of Enrollment Management, the Registrar upholds the integrity of academic programs, maintains compliance with FERPA and other governing regulations, and makes strategic and tactical recommendations to senior enrollment leadership, in conjunction with academic leadership, as to assist in continuous improvement in academic administrative policies, processes, and services. The Registrar reports to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and works collegially with faculty, deans and administrators from the University's six colleges and the Division of Professional Studies, as well as with colleagues across Enrollment Management, Information Technology, and Student Accounts. The Registrar supervises and trains a staff of nine and is responsible for "best practices" in student records and enrollment services.

The Assistant Director of Donor Relations will join the Donor Relations and Stewardship team in planning and executing Butler’s institution-wide comprehensive donor relations and stewardship program. The Assistant Director is responsible for tactical execution of the plan and creating meaningful opportunities to engage, thank, and retain current and future donors. Butler University is currently accepting applications for a Research Assistant in the lab of Dr. Lindsay Lewellyn in the Department of Biological Sciences.
