Assistant Director, New Student and Family Programs Student Involvement&Leadership
The Assistant Director of New Student and Family Programs, as part of the collaborative team of Student Involvement and Leadership, helps coordinate and improve the programs and services of the office. Their primary objectives are to promote student learning and development by focusing on, engagement, service, and involvement through hands-on experiences. The staff creates an environment that contributes to the sense of community on campus, within student organizations and beyond.
Staff Therapist (Diversity & Inclusion Liaison) Counseling Center
The Staff Therapist or Staff Psychologist is a 9-month, full-time position that supports CCS’s mission to provide mental health services and support the academic success of Butler students. The person in this position will provide individual and group therapy, outreach programming, and consultation for all students, with an emphasis on serving students who identify from historically marginalized and underrepresented groups. This position requires a passion for and competence in social justice, equity, and diversity. This person will be responsible for strengthening our connections with diversity partners on campus, mainly housed within the Diversity Center, with a priority of addressing the mental health needs of students of color. Similar to all CCS staff, this clinician will work to integrate inclusive excellence in all professional roles and activities. CCS is administratively located within the Division of Student Affairs. The service is IACS accredited and sponsors an APA-accredited internship program.

The person in this position supports BU|BeWell by providing individual and group therapy for students, and through outreach programming and consultation for students, parents, faculty, and staff. Assistant Director, Counseling & Consultation Counseling Center
The Assistant Director supports Counseling and Consultation Services' mission to provide mental health services to retain students and foster academic success. This position will engage in a wide range of individual and group counseling services, training, supervision, student development programming, consultation, and research which supports the mission of Counseling and Consultation Services and the University. This position also coordinates CCS outreach and preventative based efforts including suicide prevention, sexual assault prevention, and diversity and inclusion. The staff clinician (1 FTE) will report to this position. This position will also oversee the group psychotherapy program.

Butler University is seeking an Assistant Director to help lead and support a growing and innovative Competitive Sports program based on the BU|BeWell experience framework. The Intramural Sports program consists of approximately 1500 unique Butler participants annually in 16 intramural sports with over 600 teams. The Club Sports program consists of 26 Competitive and Recreation clubs. Direct Reports consist of approximately 60-part time student employees. This position facilitates reservations, contracts, travel, marketing, administrative operations, purchasing, professional development, hiring and onboarding, financial and risk management, advancement, recruitment and assessment. Ideal for the innovative and highly experienced candidate, the Executive Director of Division of Professional Studies (DPS), acts as the chief learning officer and oversees all aspects of Butler’s new adult, online and professional education division.
