Position Overview

Butler University Police Department is looking for experienced, ILEA certified police officers for our late shift. Officers answer calls for service, patrol the campus and surrounding area, enforce laws and provide service to the campus and surrounding community.

Required Qualifications 

• Applicants must already be Tier 1 certified by ILEA
• Applicants must pass an oral interview, drug screen, and psychological exam, and background.
• Applicants must be able to certify in State Mandates outlined by the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy,
• Applicants must be able to certify in IDACS.
