Position Overview

Butler University’s Lacy School of Business is seeking candidates for a faculty position in Supply Chain Management and Analytics to begin in August 2025. The ideal candidate will be able to teach classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and we are interested in scholars at the intersection of Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and Data Analytics. Industry experience will be considered an added value. We will welcome applications for candidates seeking the position as a lecturer (minimum of a master’s degree) or as a tenure track (minimum of a Ph.D.). The decision will be made based on the appropriate skillset and experience. For candidates applying as a tenure track, we are seeking those who can demonstrate a trajectory of scholarship in their areas of specialization and possess the potential and motivation to publish high-quality, impactful research in leading academic journals.
