Position: Part Time Assistant Coach - Women's Lacrosse
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate and recruit students that can succeed at Butler both academically and athletically
- Assist with Academic Monitoring of student-athletes
- Personal development of student-athletes
- Contribute to positive team culture
- Build and cultivate relationships with scholastic and non-scholastic coaches
- Assist with teaching and coaching in team and individual settings
- Game preparation via game and practice planning and film review
- Pre and post season conditioning, weight training and skill development
Required Qualifications
- Earned four year baccalaureate degree required.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required.
- Desired candidate will have outstanding verbal communication and leadership skills.
- Able to work effectively with student-athletes, coaches, administrators and staff.
- Demonstrated fundraising skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters preferred.
- Collegiate coaching preferred.
