Associate Director of Development - College of Education Development
Butler University is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the role of Associate Director of Development in the Office of Advancement. A successful candidate will provide vision and leadership for the University and all related constituencies in accordance with the Advancement division and the University’s strategic plan. They will report to the Executive Director of Development and serve as a member of the development team and a key contributor to the University’s ongoing comprehensive campaign. Biochemical and Pharmaceutical Science Laboratory Technician Chemistry
The Departments of Chemistry & Biochemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Butler University are seeking a new full-time technical laboratory staff member to start in August 2022. Educational requirements are a degree in biochemistry or a related field (minimum BS, MS preferred). A minimum of two years of laboratory experience is strongly preferred. Duties will include support of both academic teaching laboratories and research laboratories, ordering chemicals and supplies, inventory management, and maintenance of instrumentation and equipment. Review of applications will begin on May 31 and continue on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

Under general direction of the Structures Supervisor, the General Maintenance Worker Level 3 repairs cabinets, counters, shelves, tables and miscellaneous furniture; replaces and repairs doors, closures and locks; alters and repairs a variety of building structures such as walls, partitions, doorways, windows and frames, stairways, masonry and roofs. Installs window glass and screens, applies wall and floor covering materials in addition to installing and repairing ceramic and other types of tile. May make routine electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairs when that work is integral to the repairs or installation. Helps guide the work of less experienced workers.
