Business Advisor - CISBDC

The Central Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC), housed at Butler University’s Lacy School of Business, is seeking a full-time business advisor who will report to the SBDC's Regional Director. The business advisor’s role is primarily to provide on- and off-site, no- to low-cost training services to Indiana's small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. In addition, the business advisor is required to provide in-depth, confidential, no-cost business counseling, to provide resource and referral services, and, along with the Regional Director, to represent the Central Indiana SBDC in the community. A Bachelor's Degree is required, along with three years of experience in business operations.
Candidates for this position must be attentive to details, solution-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills and have a demonstrated ability to provide polite and professional assistance to clients of the CISBDC. The Business Advisor should be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly grasp use of Center research tools for individual client work and presentations. A Bachelor's Degree is required.
