Position Overview

Butler University seeks a part-time Payroll Assistant to work 2 to 3 days a week with a total of 10 to 15 hours during University business hours.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibilities include assisting with biweekly and monthly payroll processes.

    Specific duties include

    • Assist with biweekly and monthly payroll processes
    • Update payroll database with direct deposit, tax, and general deduction data
    • Review time sheets and follow up on questions from review
    • Research questions from Butler community
    • Back up other Payroll Assistant

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2-3 years experience; computer and customer service; payroll processing a plus
