Butler University Libraries seeks a new Head of Resource & Systems Strategies to provide leadership and vision for the Resource Strategies department, including Acquisitions, Interlibrary Loan, Electronic Resources, Collection Management, and Scholarly Communication. One of four Department Heads reporting to the Dean of Libraries, this position has primary responsibility for the Libraries’ work to provide access to content and collections in support of the academic and student community, oversight of most library systems and technology platforms, including advocacy of the user experience and accessibility of online public interfaces, as well as resource sharing and publishing.
Data Analyst Institutional Research
The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (OIRA) is seeking a Data Analyst. Reporting to the Director of Institutional Research & Assessment, The Data Analyst will report institutional data externally (e.g., CUPA-HR, AAUP, and IPEDS) and analyze data that help answer pertinent questions and generate actionable insights about student success and institutional operations. Sports Programs Intern, Recreation & Wellness HRC Operations
The Sport Programs Intern will assist the Assistant Director of Sports Programs in the administration and management of all operational and programming aspects of a comprehensive intramural sports program as well as in the administration of student-run sport clubs. Some of the responsibilities will include supervising, training, scheduling, and evaluating student staff, leadership development, risk management, facility and event management, administrative support, maintenance of records, and communication/collaboration with student, university, and community organizations and individuals.
Operations Intern, Recreation & Wellness HRC Operations
The Operations Intern will assist the Assistant Director of Operations support the Operations, Facilities, and Events areas based on the BUBeWell experience framework for the Office of Recreation & Wellness and assist with efforts for the department of Health & Recreation. This position will help with oversight of the Operations staff, reservations within the Health and Recreation Complex, and with the partnership with facilities. This position will help with the development, scheduling, and growth of about 40-45 part-time student employees. This position will strive to assist the Office of Recreation & Wellness foster an inclusive environment that seeks to serve a diverse campus community through actively developing and implementing strategies and programs to engage under-represented populations. This position directly reports to the Assistant Director of Operations.
Fitness Graduate Intern, Recreation & Wellness HRC Operations
The Fitness Intern will assist the Assistant Director of Fitness and Marketing lead and support a growing and innovative Fitness program based on the BUBeWell experience framework for the Office of Recreation &Wellness and assist with efforts for the department of Health & Recreation. The dynamic Fitness program includes personal training, group fitness, and virtual programs and resources. This position will also help provide oversight of the HRC Fitness equipment, maintenance, purchases, and supporting student employees and services that helps develop and maintain faculty/staff relationships that promotes and improves the health and well-being of the Butler campus community. This position will help provide direct oversight of approximately 35 to 40-part time and student employees including Personal Trainers, Group Fitness Instructors, and Equipment Specialists. This position will strive to assist the Office of Recreation & Wellness foster an inclusive environment that seeks to serve a diverse campus community through actively developing and implementing strategies and programs to engage under-represented populations. Admission Counselor Admissions General
Butler University seeks an Admission Counselor to promote and represent the University to prospective students and guide them and their and families in the enrollment process. This role is responsible for all aspects of recruitment for prospective first year and transfer students. The Admission Counselor uses a strategic approach to territory management with guidance from the senior team to ensure steps are in place to meet enrollment goals, while assisting with the coordination of projects and programs as assigned. Facilities Service Tech I Operations
Under direct supervision of the T.E.M.P. shop supervisor, performs semi-skilled and skilled maintenance duties in a variety of trade areas that may include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, data communication, fire alarms, campus utilities, building automations systems, swimming pool operations, preventative maintenance, and event staffing. Assignments may include service/diagnosis, repair/replace, new install, preventive maintenance, construction of some minor projects, or other trades based on knowledge and skill level.
General Maintenance Worker Operations
Under general direction of the Structures Supervisor, the General Maintenance Worker repairs cabinets, counters, shelves, tables and miscellaneous furniture; replaces and repairs doors, closures and locks; alters and repairs a variety of building structures such as walls, partitions, doorways, windows and frames, stairways, masonry and roofs. Installs window glass and screens, applies wall and floor covering materials in addition to installing and repairing ceramic and other types of tile. May make routine electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairs when that work is integral to the repairs or installation. Helps guide the work of less experienced workers.

The Assistant Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life is a full-time live-on professional staff member who provides support to sorority and fraternity chapters and governing councils with a strong focus on risk mitigation and management. The Assistant Director advances BU|BeWell through individual and group advising, program development and assessment, comprehensive education, living-learning communities, and leadership development. This position provides intentional direction and management of prevention education and member wellness programming. The Assistant Director reports to the Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life. Pharmacy Online Pathway Experiential Liaison PharmD
This is a full-time, 12-month, staff appointment in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. The Pharmacy Online Pathway Experiential Education Liaison is responsible for: (1) identifying, recruiting, and securing qualified sites and preceptors based on established criteria and process; (2) facilitating the scheduling of all student rotations in the online pharmacy pathway; and (3) providing customer service representation on behalf of the college with the goal of creating and maintaining quality relationships with preceptors and their institutions. The Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship will lead the strategy and execution of Butler’s institution-wide comprehensive donor relations and stewardship program. Reporting to the Executive Director of Advancement Operations, the Director will lead efforts to deepen relationships with the university's most generous supporters, ensuring their continued engagement and investment in our mission and strategic priorities. The role of Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship is charged with the following three responsibilities: 1. Responsible for overall stewardship and engagement strategy for fund reporting, giving societies, high priority donors, and acknowledgment processes. 2. Oversee two (2) Assistant Directors of Donor Relations and Stewardship. Setting expectations and direction for the team. 3. Build and maintain relationships with Advancement staff and campus partners to integrate donor stewardship into strategies, campus events, solicitations, and underscore the importance of gift policies.
