Position is responsible for assisting the Tuckpointers with maintaining the masonry integrity of all University buildings. Responsibilities include removal and replacement of deteriorated bonding materials, up to and including tear down and rebuild of complete wall sections of masonry.
Preventative Maintenance Technician Maintenance Services
This position is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems. In addition, this position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment. Finally, this position is responsible for swimming pool water quality, operation of Honeywell computer automated building information system, and campus wide salt delivery for softener systems.
TEMP Shop, Lead Maintenance Services
This person will perform preventative maintenance, plumbing, and other duties as it relates to the TEMP Shop. This position will also be a candidate to learn the supervisory duties and role of an Assistant Supervisor. This person will act as a supervisor for second shift employees. Answering questions, provide guidance, and lead.
BW, Group Fitness Leader Mind-Body - Certified Fitness & Wellness
This is a position in which the Group Fitness Instructor is expected to lead a group of participants through a specific mind-body class format.
Temporary Maintenance Technician Operations
This temporary position will support the TEMP shop while positions are vacant, while assisting in a few additional areas of need including the stock room and the Facility Condition Assessment.
Custodian CMH Admin
This is a part-time occasional position reporting to the Director of Operations of Clowes Memorial Hall with day-to-day supervision by the Lead Custodian. The position will require evenings, weekends and holidays as dictated by the hall schedule.

BW, Group Fitness Leader Active - Certified Fitness & Wellness
This is a position in which the Group Fitness Instructor is expected to lead a group of participants through a specific class format. The GFI creatively designs classes that are safe for participants including proper use of equipment and movement. Administrative duties include timely communication with the supervisor and participants, keeping participant counts and maintain knowledge of current industry standards. Nationally recognized certifications are recommended such as Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), American Council on Exercise (ACE), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or another reputable organization.

This is a position in which the Personal Trainer is expected to actively participate in the development and implementation of safe, effective and enjoyable fitness routines. The Personal Trainer ensures the safe and proper use of all equipment involved. Administrative duties such as keeping track of client sessions are required. Nationally recognized certifications must be obtained within one year of hire from the following organizations: American Council on Exercise (ACE) and American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
Temp - Athletic Trainer Sports Medicine
Butler University Sports Medicine seeks 5 Certified Intern Athletic Trainers to provide comprehensive health care for student-athletes in its intercollegiate athletic programs. These positions are responsible to adhere to the university mission and ensure that policies and procedures are followed in the Butler University Sports Medicine Center. The Certified Intern Athletic Trainers must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in athletic training and have taken the NATABOC exam by April 8, 2017 to be considered for this position. The candidates ultimately must be certified by July 10, 2017. Candidates must also be eligible for Indiana licensure at time of application and be licensed prior to start date.

Masonry Technician Maintenance Services
Position is responsible for maintaining the masonry integrity of all University buildings. Responsibilities include removal and replacement of deteriorated bonding materials, up to and including tear down and rebuild of complete wall sections of masonry. This position will require working at various heights up to 100 feet on ladders, scaffolding, and motorized swing stages. Position will also remove and replace concrete and assist with summer dorm preparations. At times, may require position to operate and use heavy equipment such as Skid steer, JLG lift, fork lift, genie lift, lulls, etc.
