Administrative Specialist, Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures Modern Lang Lit and Cultures
Butler University is seeking an experienced individual to fill the position of Administrative Specialist for the Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (MLLC) Department in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The selected candidate will provide assistance to students and administrative support for the faculty in the department of MLLC, working closely alongside the Chair of the department.
Building Services Assistant Bldg Services
The Building Services Assistant position will provide housekeeping and event set services to campus constituents five days per week. This position will also be required to work “Flex” day shift schedule (5:00 AM to 1:30 PM) that regularly includes overtime and weekends. Filling this vacant position will help us continue to provide proper health and safety coverage in residence halls and emergency service and work orders in all campus buildings. During the academic year from 24/7 annually, this position assists with maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all campus patrons. This position will be directly responsible for cleaning showers/restrooms, stairwells, lobbies, campus emergency response, work orders, event set-ups and other tasks in residence halls and campus buildings.
Advancement Communications Specialist Donor Relations
Butler University is in the early stages of its largest comprehensive campaign to date. The Advancement Communications Specialist will support the development and tactical execution of a comprehensive communication strategy intended to increase donor engagement and achieve advancement objectives with key constituent groups, including alumni, donors, faculty and friends.

Butler University is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to serve as Assistant Director, Foundation Relations in the Office of University Advancement. Preventative Maintenance Technician Maintenance Services
This position is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems. In addition, this position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment. Finally, this position is responsible for swimming pool water quality, operation of Honeywell computer automated building information system, and campus wide salt delivery for softener systems.

This person will perform preventative maintenance, plumbing, and other duties as it relates to the TEMP Shop. This position will also be a candidate to learn the supervisory duties and role of an Assistant Supervisor. This person will act as a supervisor for second shift employees. This temporary position will support the TEMP shop while positions are vacant, while assisting in a few additional areas of need including the stock room and the Facility Condition Assessment.

Carpenter/Locksmith Maintenance Services
Under general supervision of Structures Supervisor, perform duties involved in the maintenance of structural components of the campus to include doors, windows, roofs, walls, and alteration of door and lock hardware for campus buildings and structures. Keep accurate records of all lock changes and alterations. Perform preventative maintenance duties as identified and scheduled. Participate as part of the team, called in after hours and on weekends on a rotating basis, to provide service for emergency lock situations.

Custodian CMH Admin
This is a part-time occasional position reporting to the Director of Operations of Clowes Memorial Hall with day-to-day supervision by the Lead Custodian. The position will require evenings, weekends and holidays as dictated by the hall schedule.
Instructional Designer Academic Prog Dev & Innovation
This position provides instructional design consulting and support services focusing on online and hybrid courses and programs via the Office of Academic Program Development and Innovation (APDI). This is a highly collaborative position that will work closely with faculty, staff and administrators around the university to support course and program implementation.
