The Central Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is housed at Butler University’s Lacy School of Business and assists with the transfer of knowledge between the University and the small business community. Indiana’s Small Business Development Centers help Hoosier entrepreneurs start stronger, grow faster, and work smarter. The business advisor’s role in accomplishing this mission is primarily to provide on- and off-site, no- to low-cost training services to Indiana's small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. In addition, the business advisor is required to provide in-depth, confidential, no-cost business counseling, to provide resource and referral services, and, along with the Regional Director, to represent the Central Indiana SBDC in the community.
