Job Description

The Athletic Development Intern will offer administrative support to the athletic development office as well as handle a variety of tasks related to development events, fundraising, benefits, hospitality, and stewardship of Bulldog Club members.

Administrative

  • Includes but not limited to:
    • Return phone calls and emails
    • Make copies, information packets
    • Prepare solicitations
    • Run campus or local errands
    • Input contact reports
    • Research donor/prospect information 

Donor Relations

  • Plan, coordinate and execute an annual Thank-a-Thon using student-athletes to call and thank current donors for their contributions
  • Manage the monthly “thank you” program by sending acknowledgments to donors
  • Responsible for Bulldog Club E-Newsletters and updates

Events

  • Assist with planning, coordination, registration, and execution of the following events:
    • Tip-Off Dinner
    • Butler Golf Classic
    • Hall of Fame Dinner & Induction Ceremony
    • Athletic Director’s Dinner
    • Corporate Golf Challenge
    • Team Specific Events

Hospitality

  • Assist in all hospitality opportunities throughout the year:
    • Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Football (all games)
    • Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, Volleyball (select games)
    • Assist in setting up and tearing down hospitality locations before and after games.
