Butler University seeks a dedicated individual to assist the Fieldhouse Crew Supervisor with daily operations and event operations at the athletic facilities of Butler University. Regular hours for this full-time position are Monday-Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, with required schedule flexibility. The position is required to work weekend and evening events as needed (including football and men’s basketball games, commencement and other events).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Indiana driver’s license with a good driving record.
Physical ability to perform assigned tasks, with the ability to lift/move up to approximately 70 lbs.
Good manual labor skills, with reliable work habits and a responsive, positive attitude.
Prior custodial work and event operations experience preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform daily custodial and janitorial work to maintain and improve the cleanliness of athletic facilities.
Maintenance of janitorial equipment and some athletic equipment, with repair support provided as needed.
Assist with efficient planning of equipment and staffing for daily use of assigned athletics facilities.
Assist with field lining and turf field maintenance.
Provide a high level of customer service to support and assist our student-athletes, coaches, and guests.
Comfort in using electronic forms of communication, including the University’s EMS scheduling software.
Support Fieldhouse Crew Supervisor as needed to manage the daily operations of the division.
Hourly wage along with full benefits which include:

TIAA-CREF retirement- employees contribute 5% of base pay and Butler contributes 10% of base
