Position Overview

Butler University, a Division I institution in Indianapolis, IN and a member of the Big East, is accepting applications for Head Coach of its Division I Women’s Tennis program.

Responsibilities

This full-time, 12-month position responsible for all aspects of the women's tennis program, including:

  • Evaluating and recruiting academically qualified and talented student-athletes
  • Organizing and conducting team workouts and competition
  • Arranging a Division I schedule and team travel
  • Managing the operating and scholarship budgets
  • Selecting and managing any assistant coaches

Qualifications

Candidates must have earned a baccalaureate degree. At least three (3) years of coaching experience at the intercollegiate level is preferred along with the ability to work effectively with student-athletes, colleagues and the campus community.
