Butler University Sports Medicine seeks 5 Certified Intern Athletic Trainers to provide comprehensive health care for student-athletes in its intercollegiate athletic programs. These positions are responsible to adhere to the university mission and ensure that policies and procedures are followed in the Butler University Sports Medicine Center. The Certified Intern Athletic Trainers must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in athletic training and have taken the NATABOC exam by April 8, 2017 to be considered for this position. The candidates ultimately must be certified by July 10, 2017. Candidates must also be eligible for Indiana licensure at time of application and be licensed prior to start date. Each position will be the primary athletic trainer for the first team listed below, assist with football coverage and involve travel. The position sports assignments are as follows:

1.    Baseball/limited football coverage

2.    Softball/limited football coverage

3.    Women’s Lacrosse/limited football coverage

4.    Women’s Swimming/full football coverage

5.    Golf and Cheerleading/full football coverage

Additional responsibilities will include assisting in coverage of the Butler University Sports Medicine Center, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine.
